Today I’m beginning my new series, “Sounds of Saturday” and it wouldn’t be an official ValentineRD kick-off without featuring some Duran Duran, of course.
This is Duran Duran’s “My Own Way” released Nov, 16 1981. To me, this is vintage Duran Duran at its best. The guys look young and gorgeous. It also doesn’t hurt that they are all wearing leather pants AND tuxedos. Rock and dapper in one video – we’re talking swoon city here.
Simon is wearing his Tiger Baby necklace (and does a little growling on the floor, ladies). Nick and Roger give some of their sweet and shy heart-melting smiles.
The Fab Five are not the stars of this video though. Let me know in the comments who the star really is and if you remembered BEFORE watching the video.
