Welcome To Tunes For Tuesday – Retro Futura Tour Style!

We’re celebrating the 8th month of the year with the 80’s artists that will be performing as part of the Retro Futura Tour and today’s artist is the Thompson Twins.  The Thompson Twins weren’t twins at all and had a slew of hits in the 1980’s.  I saw them perform once at Action Park in New Jersey and I remember them being fun.

 

Tom Bailey is the only of the three Thompson Twins performing at Retro Futura and honestly, after the interview he gave in the Mad World Book, I’m shocked he agreed to participate.  BTW, if you haven’t read Mad World, it’s a great read –  a must for any 80’s New Wave fan.  The Tune for today is “Lay Your Hands On Me”, one of the groups slower songs but I like it and I hope you will too!
