I took this photo around the corner from my apartment the week before I moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles.  Although I spent some of my formative years in the SFV of California, I’ve been a New Yorker for 30 years (ouch, that hurts even to write).

I’m neither glamorous (I put on make-up maybe 3 times a year) nor cool (the word neRD being a part of my blog title was more than a happy accident) so where do I fit?  I’m not sure but I’m going to have fun finding out.
