I’m not sure what the deal was in January but it seemed like the universe was pretty pissed off. A New Year usually begins with hope, motivation and a sense of positivity but 2016 did not start off that way.
In the hopes that the month that represents love overload (and my birthday month) can help put things on a more positive spin for the year, I’ve decided it’s time for a special kind of giveaway.
In the interest of promoting health, wellness, good karma and community,
I’m hosting a giveaway of a one outfit worth $49.95 from
(for you or a friend)
In December 2013, I reviewed the athletic wear company Fabletics here and have earned a free outfit from people reading the post and signing up to try an outfit.
The social media health and wellness community helped me earn this outfit so I’m asking YOU to please help me gift some good karma to someone who can use it!
Let’s start February with some love!
Help spread the word about the #FabFebruary Giveaway
2/2 – 2/15.
See below for Giveaway details!
Winner will be announced here on the blog on 2/16/16.
Disclaimer: This giveaway is not a sponsored giveaway by Fabletics or Just Fab Inc.. This giveaway is being hosted by me via this blog in an effort to truly spread some good karma in the universe. The prize of one Fabletics outfit (valued at $49.95 + tax and applicable delivery charges) has been earned by readers signing up to try Fabletics clothing from the above linked post and in turn, I want to give back to my readers. Please see Rafflecopter link above for complete giveaway details.
I believe that I am worthy of nominating, to receive the #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit, because I am finally getting serious about my health and wellness goals. I am very underweight and working hard on achieving a healthier balance of nourishment and exercise; and the Fabletics outfit would be such a fashionable, fun reward during the process. Here’s to mind, body, and soul balance/wellness in 2016 and beyond.
I love that your birthday is on Valentine’s Day! If you can believe it, I have another very dear friend with the same special day. Very cool!! I also love how you are trying to set the universe straight with this giveaway!! You were born on the right day with your BIG HEART!! xoxoxo
This is tough- I am the only one of my friends trying to get their out of shape keister into shape, so I have to nominate myself…and that’s not something I would normally do. I wish I were joking about my friends, but they’re all busy OD’ing on chocolate, sugar, and unhealthy garbage while I am over here streamlining salads. (That’s an awful visual).
Happy Early Birthday and I like the idea of one-upping the awful month that was January with some good karma in February!
I’m totally nominating ME! I’ve been working HARD through an awful January to keep putting myself first. I’m finally learning the lesson that I deserve to focus on myself sometimes, and that when I do I’m a better mother, wife, friend, and employee for it. This would be the perfect way to restart 2016.
Oh this is a tough one! Can I nominate you? Probably not, right? In that case I want to nominate Lisa, because she’s had a rough go at the start of this year and she deserves something new and fun.
I nominate Alyssa Curran because she’s a new mom and should get a new outfit to celebrate her new mom bod (good or bad or whatever). New moms have to deal with a change in their identity. The least they could get is a new outfit to make them feel awesome.
Amen to that, Liz. Good luck and thanks for entering.
Muah! xoxo
Thank you for entering Georgette and if you ever need nutrition counseling/advice/support, remember you have a fellow Duranie in your corner.
Good luck with this giveaway and may February be better for all of us!
I love that you nominated yourself. Self care is super important and if a new workout outfit can help you keep to your goals, more power to you.
Best of luck to you in the giveaway! I wish I could just give outfits to everyone!!!!
How sweet are you? I’ll consider Lisa nominated. xo
What a nice thing to do! I believe Alyssa certainly deserves it (new moms deserve so much credit and pampering, don’t they?). Thanks, as always, for being so supportive and I wish Alyssa luck in this giveaway.
I have a V-Day bday friend too! Great day! 🙂
OK, I am going to nominate myself because I so need new outfits to work out in. All my stuff is sooooooo old! You see the same tops every video of mine! 🙂
I believe that Natalie of Nat Runs Far should win. She is a ray of positive sunshine and always lifting other people up!
I love that you are doing this. I give stuff away like this all the time. Pay it forward indeed!
I nominate my daughter, she has joined my husband and I in a 1000 mile challenge for the year and she could use a new outifit
I’d nominate myself. I was finally dragged into cardio exercise and am addicted and it feels great. I definitely feel more motivated in cute workout clothes. I’m finally seeing and feeling results and feel like I don’t have to hid under baggy sweats.
Consider yourself nominated, my friend!
I love that you’re nominating Natalie. I met her at BlogFest and she’s so nice (and I see how she’s killing it running again). Color me impressed!
Amen sister!
I love that you nominated your daughter, Ruth. Good luck to her and your husband in their 1000 mile challenge! Woot! Good luck!
YES! Welcome to the endorphin addicted club, Jenny! I love hearing stories like this one and I hope luck smiles on you for this giveaway!
I totally am nominating myself! I recently started running again after a few years break due to thyroid surgery/asthma issues. It’s been a long haul to get back into running, but totally worth it! i’d love to get a new running outfit to help me stay as motivated as I am right now, and to continue to feel good about my jump back into my healthy lifestyle!
I nominate my friend Amy who is getting married this month and is absolutely fabulous the way she is, but is working hard to ensure she’s healthy and feels fabulous for her honeymoon…despite the fact that I keep tempting her with parties and bad winter food…she is wonderful and encourages me to get back at it!
i’d love to win for myself hehe…
I am nominating myself! Sometimes I lack the motivation I need to get up and workout and a cute outfit is the best motivation!
I would love it because i recently started working out
Aileen: Those sound like good reasons to nominate yourself! Good luck!
Shannyn: I’d love to help your friend Amy celebrate her wedding with something new 😉 Wishing you (and her) much luck and love!
Nothing wrong with wanting a little something good for yourself.
Good luck! Fitness wear can certainly be motivating!
A new outfit sometimes does make it easier.
My daughter Faith who is working on accomplishing her 1000 mile goal this year
OK, Ken. Are you Ruth’s husband that is also participating in the 1000 mile challenge? You still qualify. Good luck to your daughter (and you) for your 1000 mile goal (and in the giveaway).
Yes I am, Happy Birthday Meissa!
I would nominate my friend, Melissa G.. She is a single mom and the mom of my IRun4 buddy, Nolan. Nolan has serious health issues and Melissa is still working her way through school. She keeps herself fit but she could use some new duds to feel more awesome in the New Year!
Not only does your friend have an awesome name, she sounds like a wonderful human being. Erica, I commend you for running in the name of someone else. I wish Nolan ease with his health issues, you swift feet and his mom tons of strength. Thanks for entering.
i would nominate myself! most of my friends or family dont work out, or not as much as i do. and i love athletic gear!
also- thanks so much for doing this! hope feb is better for you!
Good luck! I love athletic gear to but this time I figured it was better to spread the love.
I want to nominate my 19-year-old daughter who is going to school to become a R.D., to win the #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit because she is so dedicated to health & fitness & is so motivating to others! She really deserves it after all she does for others!
I would nominate myself because I need to expand my workout apparel options now that I’m teaching three fitness classes a week. Dress to impress! Lol.
I’m nominating myself because a new outfit would be great motivation for my workouts. Happy Birthday & thanks for the giveaway!
I would give it to my sister!
I would nominate myself because I have worked so hard this winter and pushed myself to become a much stronger individual and feel I more than deserve a new outfit!
I don’t know who besides myself needs new workout clothes. Besides the leotards my great aunt gave me I usually just buy used at Goodwill since starting my journey.
I would nominate my friend Lauren for a #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit because I need all the help I can get!
Running & fitness is my everything. I am trying to building up my wardrobe, but limited funds makes it hard. I believe I am a great contender for this because, I ran into love with fitness this past fall. After almost a year (well, a year at rock bottom) of full on PTSD, Depression & Anxiety, I had given up on the world. I thought there was nothing and nobody for me. Then one day I put on my sneakers and went for a run. I was slow, out of shape, and probably walked more than actually ran that first time out, but I was hooked I was in love. I kept going, and slowly but surely, running became my lifeline, my partner in life. It represented everything. The roller coaster ride I experienced in life was being mirrored with my roller coaster in my running. I had the ups and downs and highs and lows. But, I kept going. And, with ever run I got stronger. Stronger at running, and stronger in life. I would not give up. Every time I had a bad day and wanted to call it quits, running was there for me and pulling me out of the black hole I had fallen into. I learned to love myself, my body (something I have never done) and slowly my life. Running made me want to keep going and see just what I am capable of. Running had become my rock. And running made me, for the first time in my life, be comfortable with me and love me for who I am and what I can do. Running, fitness, and me, are now my #TrueLoves.
I would love to nominate myself, but in the spirit of giving, my mom’s birthday is the 15th ,and she is VERY deserving of a new, lovely, outfit to motivate her to keep up her gym routine- plus, she is very cute, and would probably love it!
Yay, Angela! I wish your daughter good luck in school. The RD curriculum isn’t easy but it’s worth it. Thanks for entering.
Good luck to you, Jordan!
Thank you for the good wishes and good luck to you in the giveaway!
Best of luck to you for your sister, Kristen!
Nothing wrong with nominating yourself, Lily. Good luck!
Best of luck to you, Cassi! You do have some good blog juju here.
Aaron, how nice of you! Best of luck that you (and Lauren) win!
Amy: Thank you for sharing your story of strength and rebuilding here. Fitness endeavors can really do a lot for one’s soul, mind and body (as you now know). I do wish you much luck in this giveaway and in all you do!
Barrie: How sweet! Good luck to you (and your mom, a fellow February birthday)!
Thank you. I never would have believed a year ago I’d be where I am today, but I am glad I am. I try to share my story to hopefully inspire others. Thank you for the opportunity to share it.
I would like to nominate my sister for the #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit. She is balancing life with a new job and two little kids.
Sadie: I love that you nominated your sister and the reasons why. Best of luck!
I nominate myself for the #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit since I’ve been wearing too many ugly sweatpants as a new mom!
Deborah: We say #notouglysweatpants! Good luck, girl!
I nominate my girlfriend for the #FabFebruary Fabletics outfit
