You Can't Teach An Old Dog…
It’s good to learn something new every day. Some days just being a parent, I learn lots of new things about myself, my husband, my child or even the world around me (yup, my kid is smart and does teach me a few things) but today I tried to teach myself about Pinterest. If there was a test on it, I’d fail big time.
It should be easy. It’s visual bookmarking, right? Find what you like, pin it […]
Sick Day
If I hadn’t committed to writing every day for 31 days, I’d definitely not be writing today because I’m feeling like this:

Between my back injury and now having this cold, I’m a bit fed up. I’ll be taking the rest of the day off to get better so my focus can be back tomorrow.
Happy Holidays From A Child of the 70's/80's
This is the only way a child of the 70’s and 80’s who loves music could wish readers a Happy Holiday. Band Aid began the second wave of music for charity and it features so many Brit-Pop 80’s favorites (and US based Kool And The Gang).

I’m not complaining but it is strange to go from a cold, snowy winter to seeing blue skies, palm trees and gorgeous fruit all around.
It’s my family’s first winter holiday in Southern California and while we are all enjoying not wearing winter coats and accessories, it doesn’t feel quite like home yet. I miss the energy of New York (but not […]
StumbleUpon: Pinterest with Content?
stumbleupon.com Image by: ebayink
So I’m into my 22nd of my 31 Days of Blogging Project and only today, did I learn about Stumbleupon.com.
In my mind this is Pinterest with content. I love that you get to choose areas you enjoy and by pressing the StumbleUpon button, it brings you to sites/content/visuals that comport with the information you chose.
What a great way to add to my already terrible insomnia. I may never sleep again.
In my excited state, I’ve […]
