It’s Tunes For Tuesday!

Today’s Tune is by the band, Travis (I didn’t even mean for the alliteration but I’ll take it).  The 2001 album “The Invisible Band” was one of my favorites at the time.  Travis is mellow indie-rock and this song, “Flowers In The Window” has always been one my favorites.  The song seems so full of promise and love – it was also co-written by Paul McCartney (although it was not credited to him on the album).

I hadn’t seen the video before putting this post together and while I originally thought it was a sort of tribute to pregnant women, the ending takes a very interesting turn.  Regardless, I love this song and despite the fact that I may never watch the video again, I will most definitely listen to the song!
