Welcome to Tunes For Tuesday (90’s Edition)!

 

We are at the final week of Tunes For Tuesday ’90’s Edition!  Believe it or not, there was some great music in the 1990’s and because September only has 4 weeks, I have made it a priority to showcase more great 90’s music in the future (even if it isn’t the 9th month of the year).  Today’s band, The Charlatans UK was part of the New Order, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses alternative/psychedelic/dance sound of the late 80’s/early 90’s.

I am a New Order fan (but they were one of the worst bands live that I’ve ever seen) but I was not heavily into this type of music but I heard the song recently and it made me bop around a bit.  The music made want to dance and made me smile so I figured it was a good way to close out the 90’s (since much of the music that I listened to during that time was so dreary).

Have you ever been to a rave?  I haven’t but this song seems like it would have been something played at a huge dance party.
