Most people know Paul Young as the voice that opened Band Aid’s, “Do They Know It’s Christmas” in 1984. I was (and still am) a big fan of Paul Young.

In 1985, I waited online to get the best spot possible to the “Miller Music on the Pier” Paul Young/Nik Kershaw show in New York. My friends and I waited for a number of hours and because someone with us on line passed out right before the gates opened, we got second row seats! Close enough to see Daryl Hall’s (from Hall & Oates) blue eyes when he came out to sing the song he penned, “Everytime You Go Away” with Paul.

Paul Young is now a well revered chef in England but the man did blue-eyed soul in the 80’s incredibly well. This is one of my favorites, “Everything Must Change”. Enjoy and see you Monday!
