Did you want to know how a real New Yorker eats a slice of pizza? Well here’s how:
First: Choose your slice. If you’re like me, you go pure and plain or add veggies (no meat for me).
Second: Take a napkin and blot some of the oil off.
Third: Blot again, all over.
Fourth: Find your seasoning of choice (red pepper and garlic powder are shown)
Fifth: From the top of the slice, fold toward the middle and enjoy (as Jay does above)!
I absolutely love pizza and couldn’t imagine my life without it. New York City has some of the best pizza I have ever eaten and I will never, ever give it up! I do eat healthy as much as I can but there is something to be said for enjoying all foods.
Whenever I attempt to restrict foods to focus on eating healthier, I find I want those restricted foods more. I don’t indulge in cheat days, I just enjoy food and attempt to eat in balanced manner. To visit NYC and not have pizza would be criminal so I hope if you live within or visit NYC (or anywhere else that has pizza that you love) that you enjoy it too! I may have enjoyed it a lot.

God I love pizza!!! We have a chain pizza place here called Pizzeria Da Vinci and it’s amazing! I get the DaVinci which is whole pieces of garlic (yum!), sun-dried tomato and spinach. It’s fabulous and I get the same thing every time! Thanks for making me drool…:-)
That pizza sounds delicious! I have yet to find the LA pizza that does it for me. I can’t wait to come back to NYC in Oct for my fix.
