Welcome to the first Tunes For Tuesday of 2014!

While I didn’t mean for my first two posts of 2014 to be Duran Duran related, I’m certainly not complaining.  Today’s “Tune” is from the 1985 Duran side project Arcadia called “The Flame”.

The opening lyrics hit me as very appropriate for the beginning of 2014, “I could feel the breeze blowing change, blowing through my doorway….” and I forgot how adorable the video was.  For those of you who love “Rocky Horror” or Agatha Christie, hot nerdy men and/or pretty looking women, this one is for you.  If neither of these things appeal to you but you’re a fitness buff, give the song a listen.  I think it would make a great cycling song for slow hills but lmk what you think:
