Happy February – the month of love…and celebrating my birthday (Valentine’s Day). For the entire month I’m going to focus on things I love. Everyone could use some more love in their lives and I want to share some with all of you.
I love food and I can talk (or write about it all day long). In my professional life the one thing people always tell me is that they often find themselves in a food rut. They don’t love the things they eat but they eat them because they’re familiar. The below graphic contains some of my favorite “Healthy Food Helpers”. My favorite is the Rich Chocolate Ovaltine Drink (I had it nightly while pregnant with Wild Boy). Did you know that Ovaltine was originally formulated as a nutritional supplement for those with poor quality diets?
What are some foods that you love but don’t eat often enough?

While I was tromping around Ireland with my friend Steffie back in 2010, I would never monitor what we ate while on the road going from bus to bus to train to bus – just the sit down-y fare for food blogging purposes. So it was Steffie’s self-appointed job to ensure we ate decently. More often than I care to recall, she would purchase an egg salad sandwich and shove it at my face shouting, “PROTEIN!”
I have developed a slight craving for hard boiled eggs since.
Great info graphic!
Glad I could be of some help. I forget about the beautiful hard boiled egg often and when I remember it makes me happy.
